1 Million Kids & 1 Thousand Artists by 2027

To combat the challenges posed by the Covid pandemic in the learning, development and mental well being of children besides the livelihood loss of traditional artists, MITHILAsmita is working towards a mission to impart Madhubani art education and training digitally to 1 million children by the year 2027 by onboarding 1 thousand traditional women artists as ‘Guru’, addressing 10 UN SDGs.

Inaugural Workshop 26th Jan

 Thanks for the lovely children for making inaugural workshop a grand success. Also we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the schools for encouraging their children to participate in this free Madhubani art workshop from traditional women artists live from Madhubani, on the occassion of republic day 2022.This event is organised by MITHILAsmita to celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (75th year of India’s Independence) by creating an educational and cultural bridge between our young generation and our traditional rural artists, by leveraging technology. Through this digital initiative MITHILAmita also aims to create sustainable livelihood opportunities for artisans affected in the difficult times of pandemic.
