MITHILAsmita

Light for Art (LIFA) event by MITHILAsmita in the year 2013 & 2014 were supported by Corporates like GCorp and Bajaj Electricals to light up rural artisans homes with solar lamps. Over 260 Artisan homes were solar lighted under the program. Master artists of Madhubani were also felicitated during these events.

In 2014 G Corp supported MITHILAsmita’s event LIFA (Life of Art) by sponsoring 100 solar lamps for the Traditional Women Artists of Madhubani, Bihar.

Bajaj

In 2014 Bajaj Electricals supported MITHILAsmita with subsidized solar lights procurement and 40 free solar lamps for distribution to women artists of Madhubani, Bihar.

Nayara Energy

In the year 2018-2019 MITHILAsmita founder Ihitashri Shandilya was invited to guide traditional women clusters of Gujarat – Rabari applique, bead work, tie and dye and embroidery artisans. The approach was based on MITHILAsmita Madhubani model of sustainability.
